This vintage desk lamp is a design by the German manufacturer Egon Hillebrand, produced in the 1970s. The model is characterized by the iconic 'gooseneck', a typical element of the Space Age and Mid-Century Modern era that is both functional and aesthetically appealing.
The lamp is crafted with a cylindrical, glossy chrome-plated reflector that casts a bright, focused light, ideal for a workspace. This shade is connected to a flexible, black ribbed plastic neck, allowing the light angle to be easily adjusted as desired. The base consists of a heavy, black cast iron foot with a rough texture, featuring a striking, round chrome push-button switch that reinforces the industrial character.
