Large teak coffee table, most likely produced in Denmark during the 1950s–1960s. The table stands out for its balanced proportions and refined craftsmanship. A defining feature is the sculptural design of the legs: squared and softly rounded at the top to echo the rectangular tabletop, they taper downward and transition into a fully rounded form.
The legs are visibly set into the tabletop and highlighted by a curved veneer inlay, emphasizing the quality of the joinery. A solid wood edge frames the tabletop, further underlining the high level of workmanship and material quality.
Condition: The table has been cleaned and carefully refreshed. The teak surface displays a warm, natural patina with minor age-related marks such as small scratches and gentle wear, all consistent with its age and not distracting. A timeless vintage coffee table with strong character and presence.

Großer Sofatisch aus massivem Teakholz, vermutlich aus dänischer Produktion der 1950er–1960er Jahre. Der Tisch überzeugt durch seine ausgewogenen Proportionen und die sehr sorgfältige handwerkliche Ausführung. Besonders charakteristisch sind die elegant gearbeiteten Tischbeine: Im oberen Bereich kantig und leicht gerundet, nehmen sie die rechteckige Form der Tischplatte auf, verjüngen sich nach unten und gehen schließlich in eine vollständig runde Form über.
Die Beine sind oben sichtbar in die Tischplatte eingelassen und werden dort von einer geschwungenen Furnierintarsie akzentuiert – ein feines Detail, das die hohe Verarbeitungsqualität unterstreicht. Der Tisch verfügt über eine massive Vollholzkante und ist insgesamt sehr hochwertig und solide.
Zustand: Der Sofatisch wurde gereinigt und aufgearbeitet. Das Teakholz zeigt eine schöne, gleichmäßige Patina mit altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren wie kleinen Kratzern und leichten Bestoßungen, die den Gesamteindruck nicht stören. Ein authentisches Vintage-Stück mit Charakter – ideal als zentraler Couchtisch im Wohnbereich.
