Product description
An exquisite mid-century modern sewing cabinet or mobile utility chest, manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. This piece is an exceptional showcase of Scandinavian craft, featuring highly figured palisander (rosewood) veneers running seamlessly across the dual drawers. The architectural frame is defined by dynamic, angled A-line legs that house the original spherical rolling casters.
The cabinet has undergone a meticulous professional refurbishment, reviving the striking grain variations and rich amber tones of the exotic wood. Designed with compact functionality in mind, the unit offers hidden storage via integrated handle pulls. Its elegant presentation and versatility allow it to function as a mobile filing cart, side table, or accent piece in high-end mid-century modern residential interiors.
Condition:
Excellent refurbished condition. The rosewood veneer has been carefully restored and treated with a premium finish. Structural frame and rolling mechanisms operate flawlessly.
