A striking and highly distinctive pair of bedside tables from 1960s Czechoslovakia, embodying the bold character of mid-century modern design. Sculptural, contrasting, and unapologetically stylish.
Crafted from wood and finished in a deep ebony stain (appearing almost black), the tables are complemented by original black opaline glass tops, adding a refined, architectural touch. The doors are mounted on piano hinges and feature elegant details—lightened edges, rich mahogany front panels, and original resin handles.
Both tables have been fully restored, preserving their authentic materials and character. The original glass tops show light surface scratches consistent with age, retained to maintain originality.
Condition: Very good, fully restored and ready to use. One door sits at a slight angle—purely a visual nuance that does not affect functionality.
