Product description

This mid-century bedside lamp by Polam is a distinctive example of 1950s lighting design. The piece features a striking silhouette defined by its curved metal arm and vibrant glass shade, making it a desirable addition for collectors of mid-century modern objects. The lamp is constructed with a chrome-finished metal base and arm, supporting a bright green glass shade adorned with subtle gold-toned geometric motifs. The design incorporates a push-button switch on the circular base, reflecting the functional aesthetic of the era. The combination of the polished metal and the vivid green glass creates a compelling visual contrast characteristic of 1950s European design. The piece remains in good vintage condition, retaining its original character and functionality. The chrome finish shows a natural patina consistent with age, while the glass shade is preserved with its original decorative elements intact. This lamp is well-suited for a bedside table or a desk, adding a pop of colour and historical charm to a contemporary or vintage-inspired interior. Its compact form and distinctive design make it a versatile accent piece.
