A confirmed piece of 1970s French design history: the Marsala armchair, designed by Michel Ducaroy — the same designer behind Ligne Roset's legendary Togo — and produced by Ligne Roset during the decade that redefined lounge seating with molded, sculptural forms. This example is stamped on the shell, confirming its authenticity.
The chair's structure is a thermoformed plexiglas shell in brown, in excellent original condition, with a fully detachable seat cushion — a hallmark of the era's shift toward modular, comfort-first design. It's been completely renovated to its original specification, cushion shapes and stitching included, and reupholstered in a soft, stain-resistant light beige fabric.
Sold complete with its matching ottoman, this set brings a genuine, collectible piece of Ligne Roset history into any living room — equally striking as a design statement or a comfortable everyday reading chair.
