About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an original painting by artist C.P. Rings, dated 2007. The work is executed in a striking vertical format and combines oil paint and airbrush techniques on canvas. The title, "MF 6 Amsterdam 750 years", suggests a celebration or commentary on the city of Amsterdam, giving it a piece with a clear thematic charge.
The artwork is a dynamic mix of abstract forms and graphic elements, reminiscent of Pop Art and Street Art. The composition includes text fragments such as "AMSTERDAM", "NORTH" and "IN GOD WE TRUST", which add depth and context. The palette is vibrant and consists of earthy tones combined with bright yellow, green and red. The use of both airbrush and traditional oil paint creates a unique texture and visual layering. The work is signed and dated by the artist in the lower left.
The overall condition of the painting is excellent. The canvas is tightly stretched and the colors are bright and unfaded, indicating careful preservation over the years. It is a unique, handmade artwork that has fully retained its original character.
Due to its slender, elongated shape, this painting is particularly suitable for a narrow wall, a pillar or next to a doorway. It would make a powerful statement in a modern, industrial or eclectic interior, and adds an urban and artistic element to a living room, hallway or office space.
