The plate size is 50 x 40, printed on laid paper 70 x 55, with frame 60 x 80
Metz deals with the technocratic society in his works.
There is no man in the Boss suit, but rather an under- and overlapping of primal fears.
Metz was born in Kassel in 1939 and attended the Städel evening school in Frankfurt, among other places.
He works almost exclusively with the unusual mezzotint technique, combined with collage printing using the vernis mou process.
