A rare modernist lounge chair, designed by Pierre Thielen and produced in small numbers for the prestigious Dutch department store and design house Metz & Co. in the 1960s. This chair beautifully combines architectural precision with an organic, ergonomic seating shape. The saddle leather seat was expertly renewed in the 1990s, so the leather is still in perfect condition with a light patina. Due to the high production costs in the 1960s, this model was produced only in very limited quantities.
