Product description
This is an antique set of brass weights, complete with the original wooden holder. What makes this set extra special is the classic Dutch designation "HEKTOGRAM" on the weights, a detail that collectors will certainly appreciate.
The set consists of multiple solid brass weights that fit neatly into a wooden block. The weights are provided with various old calibration and hallmark stamps, which testifies to their authentic history and use. The combination of the warm, golden brass and the natural wood gives the whole a characteristic appearance.
The overall condition is good, with a lived-in character that suits its age. The weights have developed a beautiful, natural patina and the wooden holder bears the traces of a long life. This object is an attractive addition to an interior with a preference for vintage or classic details, for example on a desk, in a bookcase or on a sidetable.
