About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a Space Age side table, combining a metal base with a plexiglass top. The piece stands out for its distinctive silhouette and bold color palette, representative of 1970s design.
The table's construction features a rectangular smoked plexiglass top in an amber tone, supported by chrome-finished metal rods. It rests on a lacquered metal pedestal base in a vibrant orange color. This design, often referred to as a "tulip" base, is characteristic of the era and provides a stable and sculptural foundation.
The table is in good overall condition, retaining its original finish and character. It shows a patina consistent with its age and use, which contributes to its authenticity as a vintage piece. The structural integrity of the table is intact.
Thanks to its versatile design, this piece can function as a side table in a living room, as a nightstand in a bedroom, or even as an elegant stand for audio equipment. Its aesthetic fits perfectly into retro, Space Age, or eclectic interiors looking for a touch of color and personality.
