About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a playful Children's light in the shape of a cat, executed in the unmistakable Memphis style from the 80s. The lamp combines geometric shapes and bright, primary colors, which is typical for this postmodern design movement. Its unique design makes it a cheerful and striking appearance.
The lamp is made of lacquered plywood with a metal tail. The cat's body is red, the head blue, and the perforated lampshade is yellow, creating a diffuse light effect. The wiring is from the Italian brand Mang and the lamp is suitable for a bulb of maximum 15 watts. Thanks to a cutout at the back, the lamp can be used as both a table lamp or hung on the wall.
The overall condition of the lamp is very good, retaining its original, vibrant colors and finish. It is a characteristic piece that adds a touch of color and nostalgia to a children's room, playroom, or an eclectic interior.
