Product description
Early and original 'First Chair' from 1983. An iconic and famous design by Michele de Lucchi for Memphis Milano. Known for the equally iconic 'Memphis Design'. This particular example was part of the large Memphis exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in the early 1990s. It was not purchased for the permanent collection at the time. A true museum piece, therefore. The vintage condition is quite good with light scratches on the back of the frame, a small damage in the lacquer on the seat and minimal damage to the lacquer on the armrest. Marked with date.
