Product description
An iconic Floor light by the Italian manufacturer Artemide, designed by Gianfranco Frattini. This is the Megaron model, a classic from the postmodern design era. The piece is characterized by its architectural, columnar silhouette and the elegant polished aluminum finish, which gives it a sculptural presence in any space.
The lamp is made from a slender column of polished aluminum resting on a solid, black lacquered steel base. The Megaron is designed as an uplighter, casting a diffuse and atmospheric indirect light towards the ceiling. A subtle slide dimmer is integrated into the column, allowing the light intensity to be easily adjusted to the desired ambiance. This design, originally released in 1979, is a testament to Frattini's mastery in combining functionality with minimalist aesthetics.
This piece is in very good condition, retaining its original luster and structure. The overall condition is consistent with careful use over the years, preserving the character and authenticity of the vintage design. The lamp is fully functional.
The Megaron Floor light is a timeless addition that seamlessly fits into both modern and eclectic interiors. Placed in a living room, office, or hallway, the lamp functions not only as a source of ambient lighting but also as a standalone design object.
