Large impressive table lamp in excellent condition. Designed by Carlo Nason in the 1970s Manufactured by Mazzega, Italy The lamp consists of 3 handblown clear and white textured Murano glass tubes. Each tube holds one bulb. The tubes rest on a heavy white metal base. The generous proportions of the lamp make a bold statement in any space, instantly becoming the focal point of your room. The handblown opal glass is mixed with more transparent glass which creates a mesmerizing visual display when illuminated. The lamp not only serves as a source of light but also as a captivating sculpture. Murano Glass also known as Venetian Glass is hand-made blown glassware crafted using special methods, techniques, and tools from silica, soda, lime and potassium melted together in a special furnace. This glass-making process was invented in Venice over 1,000 years ago and still survives today. We offer a variety of insured shipping services, ask us for the possibilities and competitive pricing.
