Marked with an engraving pen at the bottom: 'Max Verboeket', Maastricht and the number . In fine condition, only some minimal signs of ageing, "small, not disturbing, scratches.

Max Verboeket is a Dutch enameller, etcher, graphic artist, industrial designer, designer (of glass) and painter, born July 8, 1922 Hoensbroek (Heerlen).
Maximilian Leo Hubert Maria Verboeket studied stained glass and fresco in Maastricht at the secondary applied arts school and free drawing and painting at the Jan van Eyck Academy.
In the period 1954-1972, Max Verboeket was permanent chief designer at the Kristalunie in Maastricht, where he succeeded W.J. Rozendaal.
