Product description
Mathilde Alessandra is an Italian artist/designer of light sculptures.
'Model Isolde' was designed by her for the Belgian company -Light- (1969-2013), founded by Paul Gillis in 1969.
-Light Belgium- specialized in architectural lighting projects.
These Wall lights are rare, come from a bank building and served there for 25 years as artworks in various rooms.
The lamps are made of (full-color) plexiglass and have a lighter colored strip in the middle of the panel through which the light shines diffusely.
Behind the panel is a metal fixture with a 13watt fluorescent tube.
Dimensions; 55cm x 55cm x 6cm (wxhxd) per panel.
All fixtures are marked with a manufacturer sticker (Light) and model name (Isolde).
The panel is slid over the fixture and secured with two small bolts.
These lamps were mounted on a wall socket but are prepared for free use with a cord and plug.
Can be used as a wall or ceiling lamp, or even hanging from steel wires, see photo. Price is for 1 lamp. 14 pieces in stock.
All 14 are identical in design and color.
