Mathilde Alessandra is an Italian artist and designer of light sculptures.
'Model Isolde' was designed by her for the Belgian company -Light- (1969-2013), founded by Paul Gillis in 1969.
Dimensions: 55cm x 55cm x 6cm (wxhxd) per lamp
-Light Belgium- specialized in architectural lighting projects.
These wall lamps are rare; they come from a bank building and adorned various spaces there as works of art for 25 years.
The lamps are made of (solid-color) plexiglass and feature a lighter-colored strip in the center of the panel through which the light shines diffusely.
Behind the panel is a metal fixture with a 13-watt fluorescent tube. All fixtures are marked with a manufacturer sticker (Light) with the model name (Isolde).
The panel slides over the fixture and is secured with two small bolts.
These lamps were mounted on a wall socket but are prepared for free use with a cord and plug.
Can be used as a wall or ceiling lamp, or even suspended from steel wires; see the photo. Price is for 1 lamp. 14 pieces in stock.
All 14 are identical in design and color.
