Product description
This mantel clock is an heirloom and was previously only used for decorative purposes. The clock itself dates from the 1970s, probably made in Italy. This heavy, elaborately staged mantel clock features many details all around. The cover on the back can be removed using screws to gain access to the clockwork. Everything is very solid, resulting in a weight of approx. 5.0 kg Of course, the original winding key for the chime and movement is also present. The watch works, but the balance wheel had to be bumped carefully. The half and hour chimes are bright. Due to its age, I assume that the watch no longer runs accurately and displays a certain degree of inaccuracy.
