A ceramic centrepiece, designed by Luigi Castaldi and Massimo Materassi for MAS Firenze. This piece is a striking example of the Italian Memphis style, characterized by its playful polka dot pattern and graphic shapes. The set is complete and consists of a large tray with a metal handle, six cups with saucers, and a sugar bowl. It is made of white ceramic with a black polka dot motif and black accents. The original label is still present, confirming its authenticity and making it a collector's item. - Ceramic bowl, h 32 cm (incl. black metal arch) x Ø 41 cm- Sugar bowl, h 12 cm (with lid), 6 x 10 cm- 6 coffee cups, h 5 cm x Ø 10 cm- 6 saucers, Ø 12 cm. All parts are in very good condition, without cracks; marked 'Mas Italy'. The lid of the sugar bowl has a small damage (chip) in the glaze on the outer edge. One coffee cup shows an imperfection in the glaze of the black handle. The original cardboard tag from Mas Italy is included.
