Product description
This object is a solid glass decorative bowl, probably manufactured by the Bohemian glass company Egermann. The piece is characterized by its sculptural form and the use of thick, clear glass with an amber-colored core, a technique that creates depth and a warm light effect.
4 kg
35 diameter
Length 21
The bowl is hand-formed from heavy glass, resulting in an organic, flower-like shape with a scalloped edge and a ribbed base. The combination of transparent and colored glass, along with the enclosed white glass threads, is typical of Mid-Century craftsmanship. The object stands on a contrasting, square black plinth that accentuates the shape and color of the glass. A sticker on the underside indicates its origin from the Belgian supplier Toulet Van Bael.
The overall condition of the glassware is excellent, retaining its original clarity and finish. There are no visible signs of significant wear, indicating careful use over the years. The integrity of both the glass and the plinth is completely intact.
Due to its considerable weight and expressive design, this piece functions excellently as an autonomous decorative object on a dresser, console, or coffee table. It fits well within a Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or minimalist interior where it can add an artistic and colorful accent.
