Private sellerProduct description
An authentic BR03 sofa bed, designed by Martin Visser for Spectrum. This piece of furniture is an icon of Dutch design from the mid-20th century, known for its minimalist aesthetic and functional elegance.
The design features a sleek, black metal frame that forms a solid base for the upholstered seat and backrest. The sofa is covered with a durable, coarsely woven textile in a deep, burgundy color. With a simple action, the sofa transforms into a comfortable single bed. The dimensions are approximately 190 cm wide and 70 cm deep, making it a compact solution. The seating area can be slid forward, allowing the full seating surface to be used. The backrest in the middle of the sofa is a loose module that can be easily moved.
This piece is in very good condition, which testifies to careful use over the years. The upholstery is intact and the structure of the frame is sturdy and stable, retaining the original character of the design.
Thanks to its timeless and clear design, this sofa bed fits seamlessly into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is an ideal and stylish addition to a living room, study, or guest room.
