This set of two vases combines the work of Partenon Spain and Studio Art in a distinct Mid-Century Brutalist style. The sculptural forms and rough textures make these objects characterful additions to a collection or interior.
Crafted from ceramic, the vases display a robust finish in shades of black, silver, and green. The larger vase, marked by Partenon Spain, has a height of 26 centimeters. The smaller vase, attributed to Studio Art, measures 16 centimeters in height. Both pieces bear the marks of their respective makers on the underside.
The set is in reasonable condition, commensurate with age and use. Please see photos for chips. The original finish and the distinctive character of the Brutalist design have been well preserved.
These vases look excellent in an eclectic or modernist interior. They form a strong visual element on a sideboard or as part of a larger collection of Mid-Twentieth Century ceramics.
