A beautiful screen print by Marjolijn van Ginkel (1946) lives and works in the rural area of Schoonebeek in Drenthe. She has been painting professionally for over 10 years and exhibits her work in various galleries and exhibition spaces. Recurring elements of her work are human figures, signs , sometimes also snippets of texts, the fresh use of color and the details that are often only discovered later make the work powerful and recognizable. An overview of her works is on permanent display in Schoonebeek. (www.marjolijnvanginkel.nl)
