This set of two loose-leaf screen prints by the Dutch artist Maria Megens brings a vibrant, abstract composition into your home. The works are characterized by strong geometric lines and a rich, saturated color palette that immediately catches the eye. Both screen prints were produced in 2000 (nos. 17 and 18) and are executed on sturdy handmade paper, depicting an abstract landscape with architectural elements, constructed from bright planes in blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. The works are hand-signed and numbered (13/100), confirming their exclusivity as a limited edition. The dimensions and unframed format offer the freedom to frame them to your own taste. The screen prints are in excellent condition and have fully retained their original vibrancy. The colors pop off the paper! There is no visible damage or discoloration, making them ready to be framed immediately. They deserve a beautiful frame (approx. 110 x 110 cm) with a mat! These colorful artworks come into their own beautifully in a modern or eclectic interior. They are distinctly colorful—expressive—or serene—contemplative. She draws her inspiration from her travels (including Africa and Asia), landscapes, and architecture.
