Authentic Mid-Century Scandinavian stoneware vase designed by Mari Simmulson for the famous Swedish manufacturer Uppsala-Ekeby in the 1960s.
This vase belongs to the rare "Aster" series (model 1108). It features a beautiful contrast between the dark, textured brown glazed body and the sgraffito white floral sunburst motif.
Stamped underneath with the official manufacturer mark UE (Uppsala-Ekeby), SWEDEN, and the model number 1108.
