This coffee table was handcrafted as a unique piece by the Kiel-based artist Marcus Meyer. The name "Monowave" describes its timelessly curved form, which makes the table appear as if cast from a single piece of wood—self-supporting. It evokes the movement of wind and water within the tree. The surface consists of a single plank, allowing the full grain of the maple wood to be displayed.
About the artist: Marcus Meyer has been working as an artist and sculptor since 1993. During this time, he has participated in numerous art exhibitions and installations. As a visionary, he assembles a wooden blank from many individual pieces, from which he then sculpts the expressive form of the piece.
