Product description
A set of ten decorative tiles with reproductions of the stained-glass windows by the Russian-French artist Marc Chagall. This set is a tribute to Chagall's monumental work 'The Twelve Tribes of Israel', originally designed for the synagogue of the Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Each tile depicts one of the tribes in Chagall's characteristic modernist and expressionist style, characterized by vibrant colors and dreamy, figurative compositions. The images are printed on a cream-colored base, mimicking the shape of an arched window. The series is a well-known example of Chagall's work in applied art and brings a piece of art history into your home.
The overall condition of the set is very good, retaining the bright, original colors. The tiles show the character appropriate for their age and material, which contributes to their authentic appearance.
These versatile tiles can be framed as a single artwork, hung individually as wall decoration, or integrated into an interior design. They fit well in both modern and eclectic interiors and add a cultural and colorful accent to any space.
