Private sellerProduct description
A set of two Maralunga armchairs with matching footstool, designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina. This iconic design from 1973 is known for its innovative, adjustable backrest that can be folded from a low to a high position, providing a versatile and comfortable seating experience. The set is fully upholstered in supple leather in a characteristic corn yellow hue. The construction testifies to the Italian craftsmanship for which Cassina is known, with an internal steel frame and generous padding that creates the distinctive, inviting silhouette. The armchairs and the footstool together form a harmonious and functional whole. This set is in excellent condition, consistent with careful use. The leather is well-maintained and retains its original color and texture. The adjustable mechanisms of the backrests function properly. As a timeless example of Italian design, this Maralunga set fits effortlessly into both modern and eclectic interiors. The combination of two armchairs and a footstool offers a complete and luxurious seating area for a living room or library.
