Designed in 1973 for Cassina, the Maralunga sofa has become an icon of Italian design. Its main innovation: an individually adjustable headrest operated by a simple bicycle chain, allowing the backrest to be adjusted from low to high.
With its tubular steel frame, plush cushions, and enveloping shape, it perfectly embodies the marriage of comfort, functionality, and timeless aesthetics.
Winner of the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1979, the Maralunga continues to be produced and refined, confirming its status as an emblem of "Made in Italy."
Recently reupholstered in dark brown velvet, it is in excellent condition.
