The iron-red glazed porcelain vase is covered with a silver layer in which geometrical forms are reserved, some of which are then filled-in with a gold glaze, resulting in a free and powerful decoration. The artist Mamoru Teramoto is a master of contemporary Japanese Kasama pottery. He stands in the tradition of Matsumoto Saichi, has won many prizes and has exhibited widely. In his work, Teramoto seeks to be expressive and free. The current vase is a beautiful example of that vision. Objects of Mamoru Teramoto are part of the collection of the Manifacture de Sèvres in Paris. Condition : Very good. Please see images.
