Product description
Two wide lounge chairs in solid elm and leather, France, 1960s - 1970s. They are supported by an architectural frame with generous proportions. The seat rests on two curved slats between wide side panels. The construction remains visible and allows the material to speak for itself. The leather, which lies loosely over the frame and falls into deep folds, provides a soft and organic counterweight to the sleek, graphic lines of the wood. Light golden elm and warm chestnut brown leather, with a beautiful patina.
Price is for the set of two.
Excellent for their age. The frames are sturdy and undamaged, with only a few very small dents and scratches in the wood. The leather is soft and in good condition. One chair has a small repaired hole just under a fold, and a few small burn marks. See photos.
