This pendant lamp is the Skygarden 2 model, an iconic creation by designer Marcel Wanders for the Italian manufacturer FLOS. The piece is famous for its striking contrast between a minimalist exterior and a richly decorated interior, inspired by the plaster ceilings Wanders had in one of his former homes. The luminaire consists of a large aluminum dome with a black exterior finish and a white molded plaster interior. This interior decor features classic floral motifs, garlands, and medallions, creating a surprising visual effect. The light source is concealed by a central opaline glass diffuser, adorned with a decorative metal grille that projects a soft, diffused light, ideal for a living room or dining room. Designed in 2007, the Skygarden quickly became an icon of contemporary design and is part of the design collections of several museums.
