Madonna with Stars Ceramic Statue/Bust – IGNI Torino (Lenci School, 1930s/1940s)
Refined and elegant bust depicting the Madonna with a cloak decorated with golden stars, made by the famous Turin manufacturer IGNI Torino.
Historical and artistic note: Founded in Turin in the 1930s by former craftsmen and artists who left the famous Lenci ceramic house, the IGNI manufacture fully inherited its stylized style, the grace of its features, and its extremely high executive quality. This piece perfectly embodies the Art Deco taste and expressive delicacy typical of the great Turin ceramic tradition of the period.
The work stands out for its sweet features, soft facial tones, the veil, and the pure gold star applications. Original mark visible on the base below.
