Product description
A set of four chairs, designed by Philippe Starck for the Italian manufacturer Kartell. These chairs combine a polycarbonate frame with a soft, upholstered seat. The design is an iconic example of modern furniture art, known as the Mademoiselle model. The chairs are made with a fully transparent base, a characteristic of Starck's work for Kartell, which creates a floating effect. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a vibrant, lime-green fabric with a tonal jacquard or damask pattern. This combination of industrial plastic and classic textile decoration is characteristic of the chair's postmodern design. The overall condition of the set is very good. The upholstery retains its bright color and the fabric structure is intact. The transparent polycarbonate frames are clear and show the original finish, contributing to the authentic character of the set. These Mademoiselle chairs function excellently as Dining chairs or as striking accent chairs in a living room, study, or reception area. Due to their unique aesthetic, they fit well into modern, eclectic, and Hollywood Regency interiors.
