Product description
Special vintage folding director chair, designed by Lyda Levi for McGuire Furniture. The chair features a characteristic foldable frame of dark rattan/bamboo, combined with a seat and backrest of brown leather. The connections are beautifully finished with wrapped rattan and metal hinge fittings. The design combines the typical organic McGuire style with the look of a classic director's chair. Thanks to the ingenious hinge mechanism, the chair can be fully folded. The chair is in good original vintage condition. Both the frame and the leather show visible signs of wear and patina consistent with age. These have been deliberately preserved and give the chair a lot of character. Please examine the photos carefully for the condition.
