Luke Chamberlin is a self-taught artist from Canada who is currently residing in the Netherlands. He specializes in abstract and figurative work using bold colours and strong shapes to force viewer to stop and look. His work is primarily held in private collections in Canada and Europe and he has exhibited at numerous shows in Toronto and Montreal. He describes his paintings as, "... a series of decisions. Some of them are big and some are small. Some have very little bearing on the work as a whole, and some determine the entire course of its being. A painting requires as many decisions as is necessary, but never more than that."
