Spanish-Dutch artist Luis Penín (b. 1968) sometimes works for years on seemingly simple paintings. A few quick black lines, a few summarily indicated shapes on a white surface, that's all it is. Penín is concerned with content and eloquence. 'My weapon' reads on his violin case. "Art is a weapon against the bad qualities of man," says Luis Penín. He has high opinions about art. "A good painting is not good enough, it's not finished until I see the original idea fully reflected in it." To reach that point, Penín works on the same painting for months, sometimes years.
This beautiful silkscreen is in excellent condition and is hand-signed by the artist. The silkscreen is a great starting point for creating your own wall mosaic.
