Product description
This is a Lugano wall storage unit, a signature design by Morten Georgsen for the Danish brand BoConcept. The piece exemplifies the brand's commitment to clean, functional, and highly customisable furniture systems. Known for its minimalist aesthetic and modular flexibility, the Lugano system is designed to provide elegant storage solutions that integrate seamlessly into contemporary living spaces. The unit is constructed from durable materials, featuring a smooth, matte lacquer finish in a versatile light grey or taupe colour. This particular configuration consists of two modules: a low base unit and a raised cabinet, creating a dynamic, asymmetrical profile. A key feature is the handleless, drop-down fronts, which are equipped with high-quality gas struts for a smooth, soft-opening and closing motion, revealing ample storage space within. The overall condition of the cabinet is excellent, reflecting careful maintenance. The surfaces are clean and the structure is sound, preserving the sleek, uninterrupted lines that define the design. The minimalist hardware and slender metal leg contribute to its light, floating appearance, a hallmark of modern Danish design principles. Ideal for use as a media console or a low sideboard in a living room or study, this Lugano unit offers both sophisticated style and practical function. Its neutral colour palette and clean geometry allow it to complement a wide range of interior styles, from Scandinavian to minimalist and modern industrial.
