Luceplan Compendium Sospensione LED black - dimmable
The Compendium Sospensione by Luceplan picks up the slender design language of its sister, the Compendium Terra, and translates this into the design of a finely crafted pendant lamp. It consists of a 163 cm long, cylindrical profile made of extruded aluminum, which is completed by a side profile with an angle directed straight downwards. The Luceplan Compendium Sospensione is the brainchild of the renowned Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken. His source of inspiration for this pendant lamp was a diffused diffuser, such as is often found on SLR cameras.
Compendium Sospensione pendant lamps: remarkable light gain
The Luceplan Compendium Sospensione hangs from the ceiling on two thin supply cables and provides the area below with glare-free and bright zone light. But the pendant lamp impresses with another key feature: its side profile is 180°, allowing the lamp to direct its light entirely against the ceiling and ensure diffuse room lighting. High-performance LEDs with high light output are responsible for this. The Compendium Sospensione features particularly efficient LED bulbs that produce a luminous flux of 3,050 lumens while requiring only 25 watts. With this, the pendant lamp from manufacturer Luceplan becomes a remarkably energy-efficient lighting solution for both the home and the commercial environment. By comparison, a 200-watt incandescent bulb provides only slightly more light, but requires approximately eight times the amount of energy to do so.
