Private sellerProduct description
This is a screen print by the Dutch artist Lucebert, titled 'And He Opened His Eyes'. The work displays the artist's characteristic figurative and expressive style, in which mythological and religious themes often play a role.
The screen print is produced on paper and is hand-signed and dated '73 by the artist. It is a limited edition, with this copy being number 175 of 200. The work is executed in a striking color palette of green, blue, and gray, creating a strong visual contrast. The print is framed in a sleek, silver-colored frame with a mat, which beautifully accentuates the artwork.
The artwork is in excellent condition, with the colors remaining bright and vibrant. The framing was done professionally and protects the work well.
This screen print by Lucebert is a valuable addition to a collection of modern art. The work comes into its own in a contemporary interior, for example in a living room, study, or hallway, where it will serve as a fascinating topic of conversation.
