Private sellerProduct description
A Siesta Lounge Chair, designed by Ingmar Relling, with a light wood frame and leather upholstery. This piece is an iconic example of Scandinavian design, known for its lightweight construction and ergonomic comfort.
The Armchair features a frame made of molded plywood, which provides a flexible yet stable base. The upholstery consists of dark brown, mocha-colored leather, quilted in horizontal channels, and features an integrated headrest for additional support. The armrests are also covered in leather, offering comfortable support. This piece was acquired in 2011 from Joergen C. Nielsen Moebler in Roskilde, Denmark.
The overall condition of the Armchair is very good, reflecting careful use. The leather has developed a natural patina, which contributes to the character of the piece, and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free household. The structure is solid and the materials are well preserved.
With its sleek silhouette and high-quality materials, this Lounge Chair seamlessly integrates into modern or mid-century inspired interiors. It is ideal as a reading Armchair in the living room or as a stylish addition to a study.
