This beautiful armchair is a design attributed to master designer Louis van Teeffelen, who worked for the Walraven & Bevers furniture factory.
In the mid-1960s, he designed various beautiful pieces of furniture for the WéBé company that excel in material selection and design. The organic forms are particularly striking and are reminiscent of Scandinavian design language, yet they are very distinctive in their cut. The designs also feature Japanese influences.
This is a relatively rare model, also known as the "Penguin Chair".
Ideal for an enthusiast or restorer who wishes to restore this valuable piece to its former glory.
