Product description
A rarely seen Dutch mid-century coffee table, Model No. 35 was designed by Louis van Teeffelen and produced in small numbers by Wébé between 1965 and 1968.
The sculpted base is what sets this model apart. Viewed from the front, a narrow gap between the upper rail and the tabletop makes the top appear to float. The softly rounded edges follow the curves of the frame, while the warm teak grain runs the full length of the 150 cm top. At just 50 cm wide, it sits comfortably alongside a long sofa.
Condition: The teak has been freshly oiled. There are a few subtle signs of use, as expected for a table of this age, but they do not detract from its overall appearance.
