Product description
This hanging lamp provides a comfortable, diffused light based on the principle of Poul Henningsen's reflective three-shade system, where most of the light is directed downwards. It shines laterally and on itself, providing a soft radiance from the core. This version consists of the color purple with white and red accents.
Poul Henningsen, or PH, was a Danish architect and designer. The PH-5 lamp and the PH Artichoke are two design examples that are best known for the inventiveness of the construction and the diffused light. His lighting fixtures were manufactured by Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen, a company with which Henningsen would establish a lifelong working relationship.
