About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
The Panthella table lamp, designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, is a defining piece of Space Age lighting design. Its distinctive trumpet-shaped base and hemispherical shade create a seamless, organic silhouette that has made it a canonical model in mid-century modern interiors.
Constructed with a white acrylic shade and a matching base, the lamp is designed to emit a soft, diffused light. The material composition ensures that the light reflects downwards from the shade and outwards from the trumpet stem, providing a balanced illumination. The lamp features its original white wiring, complete with an inline switch and a standard European plug.
The piece remains in excellent structural and aesthetic condition, preserving its original finish and character. The acrylic components are intact, and the fixture retains its functional integrity.
This table lamp is well-suited for contemporary or Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It serves as a striking focal point on a sideboard, desk, or side table, complementing both minimalist and eclectic spaces.
