Product description
One of the most interesting lamps in the history of Danish design. The Charlottenborg was originally designed by Poul Henningsen in the 1930s. In 1979, it was redesigned by Sophus Frandsen and Ebbe Christensen specifically for the Charlottenborg exhibition hall in Copenhagen.
This smaller 5-4½ version was created in 1984 for the concert hall in Aarhus.
The four-shade version was designed to increase the amount of light emitted horizontally, providing better illumination of walls and shelves than the standard three-shade version.
The Charlottenborg is still produced by **Louis Poulsen**, exclusively to order.

**Condition:**
The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use. Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
**Electrical:**
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and fitted with a new braided electrical cable. The lamp has been tested and is working properly. A new metal ceiling canopy is included.
The lamp is ready to install and enjoy.
