Product description
Louis-Philippe cabriolet armchair, restored by me as an upholsterer. This chair underwent a complete reupholstering using a semi-traditional technique, which combines traditional methods with contemporary techniques, notably the use of foam, to offer optimal comfort while respecting the chair's original character.
The wood was intentionally left weathered, marked by natural wear and tear and the various restorations the armchair has undergone over the centuries. These traces of the past were preserved to create a striking contrast with the decidedly contemporary fabrics.
The armchair is upholstered in fabrics from Zéphir & Co. Two different velvets that complement each other, designed as the negative of one another. These fabrics give this chair its unique identity.
