Original NX41 wall lamp designed by Louis Kalff for Philips in the early 1960s. A distinctive and collectible example of Dutch mid-century lighting. The NX41 combines a sculptural bent plywood frame with an opaline glass shade, giving the lamp its characteristic warm and architectural appearance. When illuminated, the glass provides a soft atmospheric light while the curved wooden construction remains a strong visual feature. Louis Kalff was one of the most influential designers associated with Philips and his vintage lighting has become increasingly sought after by collectors of Dutch modernist and mid-century design. This is an original vintage Philips production, not a later reproduction. The lamp remains in good vintage condition with age-related signs of use consistent with its age. Please see the photographs for the exact condition.
