Beautiful Louis Kalff wall lamp made of a transparent blue blown glass globe, with a matte white glass shade hanging from it, which casts a beautiful soft light. The wall bracket is made of hardwood, with a beautiful deep brown color.
Designed for Philips in 1962.
In good vintage condition. The blue globe is completely intact, while the white glass shade is missing a small chip at the very bottom, but this is barely noticeable.
This NG68 E/01 pendant lamp, made of white satin glass and blue colored glass, was produced by Philips. It is in good condition with one chip to the bottom edge of the white glass. Documented in the Philips catalog of August 1962, page 82. A rarer item from Philips, clearly inspired by Finnish glass lighting designs.
