Vintage louis Kalff desk lamp, model President, 1960s, Netherlands An iconic design lamp manufactured for Philips (Netherlands) by Louis Christiaan Kalff. Model "President". The lamp is in nice vintage condition. there are some small use marks in the lampshade, but exceptionally nice condition for this type of lamp. working perfectly. The "president" lamp is composed of a dark gray base with the philips logo, a metal rod and an aluminum lampshade round. Two light points and two switches are provided. Static model. Material: Cast iron counterweight in the base. Felt on the underside of the base. The lampshade is white inside and aluminimum on the outside. Round shade. height: 50 cm Width: 41 cm Electricity: 1 bulb E27 Period: 1960s, 1970s - Mid - Century Modern. Designer: Based on a design by Louis Christiaan Kalff.
